Service overview
Other Candidate is a career workflow product that helps users organize recruiting email, application records, deadlines, review items, and resume-related context. The service is provided for job-search organization and workflow support.
Accounts and Google access
You may sign in with a Google account. Google sign-in creates a workspace session only. Gmail inbox access is requested separately and is used only after you choose to connect an inbox through the Gmail authorization flow.
Email analysis and service output
The service may classify emails, extract companies, roles, deadlines, interview details, offer facts, reminders, recruiter/contact information, resume context, and model trace metadata. Output is assistive and may be incomplete or wrong.
Review responsibility
You are responsible for reviewing extracted application facts, deadlines, reminders, suggested resume edits, and recommendations before relying on them. Other Candidate is not legal, financial, immigration, employment, recruiting, or professional career advice.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, upload unlawful content, or use Other Candidate to violate another person's rights or applicable law.
User content and permissions
You represent that you have the right to connect the Gmail account, upload documents, and provide content you submit to the service. You remain responsible for the content in your workspace and for complying with employer, school, platform, and applicable legal obligations.
Privacy and data controls
Use of Google user data and Gmail-derived data is governed by the Privacy Policy. Users can disconnect Gmail, delete imported inbox data, or purge inbox-sourced records through product controls or by contacting support.
Third-party services
The service may rely on third-party platforms such as Google APIs, hosting infrastructure, databases, security tools, and optional model providers. Your use of Google services remains subject to Google's applicable terms and policies.
No Gmail mutation
The Gmail integration is designed around read-only recruiting intelligence. Other Candidate does not use the Gmail API to send email, delete email, archive messages, modify labels, or change mailbox content.
Limits and safety controls
We may apply usage limits, review gates, rate limits, upload limits, access controls, or other safeguards to protect reliability, security, provider cost, and abuse-prevention boundaries.
Service availability
Other Candidate may change, pause, or stop features as the product evolves. We will try to avoid data loss and service disruption, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.
Security and prohibited access
You may not probe, scan, abuse, overload, reverse engineer, bypass access controls, or attempt to access another user's workspace. Security reports should be sent through the contact page.
Limitation of responsibility
The service is provided to help organize and review recruiting information. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for missed opportunities, incorrect extracted facts, provider outages, or decisions made based on service output.
